He set up a typology of the buildings of the different national groups and sub-groups, which is based on complex and varied parameters such as the types of construction (huts, kitchens, silos, sheepfolds, enclosures, etc.), the materials ( millet, stone, clay, woven basketry panels), ornamental elements, etc. It is a valuable tool for inventory operations, safeguarding built heritage, and rehabilitating dormant heritage. Thus, and since the 1990s, the Association Pays de la Loire-Cameroun (APLC)<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, la Route des Chefferies and its experts carried out diagnoses of the built heritage<\/strong> in more than fifty chiefdoms.
