The main theme of the Bandjoun heritage hut is “Forge, art and power”. Its collection consists of nearly 400 objects and invites the visitor to enter the Bandjoun universe and the forge. This museum makes it possible to realize that this practice is an essential element of society much more than a tool for development. In Bandjoun, the forge enabled the consolidation of the dynasty and the production of religious objects, tools and weapons. The heritage hut was inaugurated in 2003, and renovated by the Route des Chefferies in 2009.
In 2022, the chiefdom loaned objects for the exhibition « Sur la Route des Chefferies du Cameroun ». These objects returned to their place at the end of the exhibition.
