In Bamendjou, oral tradition has always occupied a prominent place, making art a means of expression through generations. From Fo’o Bakum (head weaver) to Fo’o Tsela (head blacksmith) via Fo’o Ngoum (producer of raffia fiber blankets), the heritage hut of Bamendjou bears witness to this art of creators through a whole artisanal journey, thanks to its theme “A chieftaincy, creators”. In this museum, we find works by contemporary artists, such as Joseph Francis Sumégné.
