Cultural achievements
La Route des Chefferies is an organization that manages a network of more than 25 museums, to date distributed in three of the four cultural areas of Cameroon, and in several forms (national museums, heritage huts, community museums). These museums have either been designed by the Route des Chiefdoms (most of the heritage huts, museum of civilisations, etc.), have benefited from its expertise and its contribution in one or more areas (water museum, new Bamoun museum), and /or benefit from support at several levels in the development of the museum. The members of the network regularly benefit from training and school workcamps organized by the Route des Chefferies to strengthen their capacities.
In the long term, this network of museums acts as a cultural observatory not only at the regional level but also nationally and internationally so as to pool all scientific research (multidisciplinary) that contribute to a better knowledge of Cameroonian civilizations and their heritage. cultural and natural.
